For five weeks in the New Year, the club has been invited to have our own exhibition in the People’s History Museum foyer. The space we have, will mean that we can display photographs by our match day photographers and memorabilia that supporters consider have meaning to them. With the new stadium, this exhibition is not only a fantastic opportunity to reach members of the public but may be the first of many. So we want groups of supporters to be involved in choosing the photos and bringing along and deciding on their meaningful memorabilia.
We have two workshops which will develop the exhibition, and where we can discuss other ways of utilising the exhibition to promote the club’s match days and events:
* Choose the Pics: Saturday January 11th 13.35 - 14.20 in the old Directors’ Lounge at Gigg Lane (entrance via main reception) prior to the men’s first team Chorley fixture;
* Choose the Memorabilia: Sunday January 12th 12.00 - 13.15 in The People’s History Museum, Left Bank, Spinningfields, M3 3ER prior to the women’s Beechfield United fixture.
What Memorabilia? - scarves, badges, hats, boots, shoes, rattles, tickets, cards – anything that has meaning to you about your FC journey. All exhibits will be kept in display cases and returned in good condition.
Exhibition Dates: Friday 17 January – Sunday 23 February 2014.
