FA Cup 1st Round Qualifying - admission & travel

This game is to be played at The Bright Finance Stadium, Sheffield Road, Dronfield, South Yorkshire, S18 2GD.

From the East - M18 to M1 north to Junc 33 (Sheffield). Turn towards Sheffield and take the 3rd exit from dual carriageway signposted’ Ring Road / Chesterfield’. Go straight on at traffic island so that you are travelling alongside dual carriageway for a short period. At the junction turn left onto A61 Chesterfield. This is a dual carriageway passing through numerous traffic lights and two traffic islands. Follow Chesterfield sign at all times. After passing Graves Tennis centre on your left, turn left at next traffic island (still signposted Chesterfield). At next traffic island take 2nd exit signposted Dronfield The Coach and Horses Public House is at the bottom of the hill on the right and the Bright Finance Stadium directly behind it. Entrance to the ground is by turning right at the traffic lights and immediate right into the Club Car Park.
From the West – M62 to M1 South to Junc 33. Then follow directions as from the East.
From the south – M1 to Junc 29, A617 into Chesterfield. At Roundabout follow A61 Sheffield. This is a dual carriageway passing over 2 roundabouts. At the 3rd roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Dronfield. The Coach and Horses Public House is at the bottom of the hill on the right and the Bright Finance Stadium directly behind it. Entrance to the ground is by turning right at the traffic lights and immediate right into the Club Car Park.
Takes around 50 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly direct to Sheffield. Supporters will then have to get the bus or another train to Dronfield, details below.

Dronfield has its own station and trains leave Sheffield at 05 minutes past the hour going to Nottingham. Around 10/12 minutes travel. The return is a minute or two short of the hour and the station is a 10 minute walk south of the ground on the road to Chesterfield. It would be cheaper to book straight through than get separate tickets at Sheffield.
Or take the number 43 Stagecoach bus with a final destination of Chesterfield. The 43 departs from Flat Street Sheffield (you will need to go through the Bus Interchange) on the hour and half-hour and takes 25-30 minutes to reach the Coach and Horses. The return buses are at 16.58 and 17.28. Ask the driver for a £3 day-rider.
FC United will not be running an official coach to this fixture.
