There were 1,130 Pound for the Ground tickets sold at the North Ferriby United game on Saturday 27 February and the first prize of £200 remains unclaimed so please check your tickets if you bought one. After deducting the prize money a very solid £880 swelled the Development Fund coffers.
The winning ticket numbers were as follows: -
First prize of £200 – 0566 (unclaimed)
Second prize of £50 – 0806 (claimed)
Third prize of a fudge hamper – 0807 (claimed - and yes we did shake the barrel!)
Fourth prize of a Breakfast for two – 0455 (claimed)
The barrels were away to a stonking start thanks to a £50 donation, £30 from the match day volunteers’ brews donation and £23 from Raymond who swapped 23 US dollars. The final count came to an eye-watering £336, just from putting money in a barrel.
A massive thank you to everyone who supported the match day fundraising at the North Ferriby game. The barrel collection was the best we have had for weeks and may well have been boosted by the leaflets we had printed urging people donate to help us reach our target for the season from ticket sales and barrels of £30,000.
All in all we raised £1,216 from ticket sales and the barrels at the North Ferriby match. This brings our running total from matches for the season to £22,955 raised for the Development Fund.
We now have five home games to raise a further £7,000 to reach our target for the season. If we do as well as we did last Saturday, then we’ll do it.
