After the first and second prize money was deducted we were left with £880 for the club’s Development Fund. The fudge hamper was won by one of our Armchair Army members and they have requested that the hamper be sent to St Marys School in Moston, so we’ll be getting that to them.
The winning ticket numbers were as follows: -
First prize of £200 - 0421 (claimed)
Second prize of £50 - 0054
Third prize of a fudge hamper – 0214 (claimed)
Fourth prize of a Breakfast for two - 0609
The barrels were emptied, and nearly a third of the coins and notes were from abroad. 45 euros, Swiss francs, New Zealand dollars and a multitudinous range of other foreign stuff was collected which will be exchanged at later date. The English money amounted to £134, and again it will go into the Development Fund.
Big, big thanks to everyone who bought a ticket or contributed on a day which will long last in our memories for the tremendous fightback by our team to win the game.
All in all we raised £1,014 from ticket sales and the barrels at the Harrogate Town match. This brings our running total from matches for the season to £20,474 raised for the Development Fund.
