Season Tickets for 2016/17

Following the end of our first season in the National League North, our attention turns to the new season which kicks-off on Saturday 6th August. All of the teams competing in the National League North have now been confirmed with the fixtures due to be announced on Wednesday 6th July.

Next season we look forward to welcoming FA Trophy Winners FC Halifax Town to Broadhurst Park for the first time, together with Kidderminster Harriers and Darlington 1883. Add those to local derbies against Altrincham, Curzon Ashton, Chorley, Salford City, Stalybridge Celtic and Stockport County, there’s going to be some big games and big crowds at Broadhurst Park.

In ensuring we continue to make admission prices as affordable as possible, as set out in our Manifesto, our pay on the gate prices for the 2016/17 season will remain at:

£9 Adults, £5 Concessions and £2 for under 18s.

We will once again be offering ‘Pay what you can afford’ Season Tickets.

The minimum price of an adult season ticket is set at a very affordable £100.

Our Pay what you can afford scheme was introduced for the 2009/10 season, with the hope that those who can afford to do so will choose to pay more, subsidising those who pay less. In 2008/09, Season Tickets were priced at £140 each, but the following season, under the new scheme, we saw average prices paid rise to £160. Last season, of the 1,723 Adult Season Tickets sold, the average price paid per season ticket was £148.

In order to meet our financial targets, we would greatly appreciate it if supporters, who can afford it, add a donation to the minimum season ticket price. We are suggesting an average donation of £60, on top of the £100 ticket price so that we raise at least £160 from each ticket sold. This is equivalent to an entry price of £7.62 per match.

Supporters who are able to pay more than £160 are encouraged to do so as every extra pound we raise is invested in the club and helps us to plan financially for the season ahead. If you want to pay the equivalent to the general admission prices, this works out at £189 for Adults.

Concession season tickets for over 60s/the unwaged will effectively be the same as the minimum price for all adults. Under-18 season tickets will remain at £21 equivalent to just £1 per match.

Season Ticket and general admission prices at FC United are the same no matter whether you wish to stand up or sit down at matches, and as such seats are unreserved giving everyone the opportunity to choose where they wish to watch the match from.

To maintain accessibility to FC United by keeping a good proportion of pay on the gate attendees, like last season we are limiting the number of season tickets sold to around 50% of our ground capacity. This means that we have 2,150 season tickets available to sell, so please order yours soon to avoid missing out. All existing season ticket holders will be guaranteed a ticket for the 2016/17 season provided that they renew before 30th June 2016. All season tickets last season were completely sold out.

Season ticket sales are extremely important to FC United.

Revenue generated from Season Ticket sales equates to around half of the Club’s matchday income and this helps us better plan our finances for the coming year.
